About Christmas Fest
Christmas Fest is a flagship event by Hands of Hope since 1998. Held every first and second Saturday of December, we aim to bring the Christmas cheer to our Southwestern community in Brisbane, and to bring friends and family together.
This event is proudly supported by Brisbane City Council, the Lord Mayor’s Community Fund and Moorooka Ward Councillor.
Event Locations and Details
This year, we are running Christmas Fest in two locations – St. Lucia and Willawong.
That means you and your family gets double the fun, and the chance to explore larger parts of Brisbane!
WILLAWONG - 7 DECEMBER 2024
Time: 3pm – 6pm
Address: Unidus Community Centre, 204 Sherbrook Rd, Willawong QLD 4110
ST LUCIA - 14 DECEMBER 2024
Time: 3pm – 6pm
Address: Guyatt Park, St Lucia QLD 4066
Each child attending the event will receive a free gift upon registration. Kindly bring sunscreen for sun protection, and your own picnic mat or chairs to the event if you would like to sit and rest at the grass areas.

Do I need to RSVP for the event?
You can walk in and register on the day itself. Come early to have the best experience at Christmas Fest!
Is this event only for family and kids?
This event is catered for all ages! So bring your friends and families along to join us for some Christmas cheer.
Are food and drinks available?
If you are attending the Willawong Christmas Fest (7 December) – pastries and snacks, coffee, and some soft drinks will be available.
If you are attending the St. Lucia Christmas Fest (14 December) – food and beverages are available for purchase.
