About "Money Help"
Money Help is a free and one-on-one service designed to promote financial literacy and empower individuals with essential financial knowledge.
Financial matters can be a major source of stress for many of us. Whether you are grappling with bills, concerned about debts, struggling to save, or managing a tight budget, help is available to aid you through this financial stress.
At Hands of Hope, we are here to help you build financial resilience so that you can gain confidence in your everyday life. We aim to bridge the gap between financial awareness and practical skills so as to provide you with the tools you need to make informed financial choices and achieve long-term financial stability.
How it Works
We will assign a money mentor to guide you for 4 to 6 months. They will schedule multiple mentoring sessions with you either in-person or online.
Your money mentor may discuss available concessions and hardship programs to help you make the most of your money.
They will also help you re-evaluate your income and expenses, and assist you in creating a personalized budget.
Our Money Mentors
Our money mentors are professionally-trained to help individuals manage their finances, but they are not financial planners, advisors or counsellors. They will not advice or recommend any financial products or services.
If you have large debts or unfair contracts, we may refer you on to a financial counsellor or a free legal service for advice and advocacy.

Other Monetary Services
Other than our Money Help program, we also offer a No Interest Loan Scheme (NILS) for individuals who require monetary support.

With NILs, you only pay back what you borrow, nothing more.
